The synagogue still has the scrolls of the Old Testament and the copper plates, which recorded the grants of privilege, bequeathed by the Kochi rulers.

Chinese Fishing Nets : These huge cantilevered fishing nets seen in the Vasco da Gama square are a top draw among the tourists.

Goa is world famous for its beaches, its ancient temples and churches, and its Goan carnival. Kanheri Caves, forming one of the most popular excursions from Mumbai, are situated inside the forests of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park of Maharashtra. They lie on the western outskirts of the city, to the north of Borivali.
